Abstract

The work describes a new type of Air Intake Manifold equipped with heat exchanger for a innovative family of turbocharge application small engines.
More in detail, a fluid-dynamic analysis is illustrated with a focus on the model of the heat exchanger.
The losses of static pressure have been modeled using Darcy's Law and particular attention has been given to their impact on the AIM performances.
