The identification of new talent, the development of skills with new and emerging engineering simulation or industry 4.0 technologies, and the problem solving and innovative mindset necessary to address the existing and nascent challenges of business and society today and in the future, are some of the biggest issues in business today.
The Poster Award recognizes and rewards the creative use of CAE technology around the world in order to bridge the gap between the academic and industrial worlds by providing a forum to connect innovative new young thinkers in engineering with industrial enterprises that have an ever-increasing need for these skills.
Participation is free and is open to students, graduates, researchers and faculty members from universities and research centers.
The ninth edition of the competition will be held as part of the International CAE Conference and Exhibition, which this year will take place online from November 30 to December 4, 2020: a unique opportunity to present your research to an even wider and more international audience.
The finalist posters will be viewable on a public page of the conference website (www.caeconference.com); the 5 winning posters and their brief video presentations will be showcased in the event’s virtual exhibition space during the five days of the conference and exhibition (and for the following three months).
Note: Authors of conference paper that have been accepted may enter the International Poster Award only if they submit a different work from that selected for presentation at the conference.
The subject of the Poster is open and is not limited to any particular industrial sector, however each Poster entry submitted must focus on a study / research / project / case study where one or more types of CAE simulation software, either commercial and / or open source, have been used.
Posters are to be submitted in English, and must be of A1 (width 594 mm, height 841 mm) dimensions, in pdf format at 150 dpi and have a maximum size of 5MB).
The Poster must contain the following information:
