The 2019 CAE Conference

The 2019 CAE Conference will illustrate how and where engineering simulation, already pervasive in design and production processes and in the use of products themselves, is inextricably linked to the other Industry 4.0 technologies. One could even say that Engineering Simulation’s role is central to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. This year’s CAE Conference will illustrate how engineering simulation can be used in different productive contexts to orchestrate a successful and considered path towards effective digital transformation.

The Plenary Session on the opening day will feature thought leadership presentations by recognized authorities in their fields and will appeal to the wide and diverse audience.

The Breakout Sessions will be related to the most common application areas of virtual experimentation: such as automotive, aerospace, and energy, among others. These sessions will be focused on the practical experiences of international organizations in different industrial sectors.

A number of collateral events will take place alongside the 2019 CAE Conference and Exhibition, enriching the overall value of the event to delegates. Organized independently but alongside the CAE Conference and Exhibition, these events will nonetheless be able to reach the prestigious, qualified pool of technology and business decision makers that come from around the world to attend the CAE Conference each year.

The International CAE Conference invites contributions to the two-day program that address the landscape of Simulation Based Engineering and Sciences and cover both the outstanding achievements of today as well as the ground-breaking prospects for the future.

Submit an abstract that provides leading insights, illustrates success stories, or showcases the engineering applications and/or technology adopted to embrace and overcome industry challenges, for your chance to present to a global audience of industry decision makers and professionals. All abstracts must be submitted for consideration by the 21st June 2019 using the online submission form.

Abstracts (1000 characters max.) should clearly state the paper’s title, the author’s name(s), the organization and its contact details (address, telephone number and email address).
Successful applicants will be informed by the conference committee no later than the 9th July.
The full paper must be submitted no later than the 23rd September.

The presenting author must also register for the conference before the 19th July*.

*Failure of the author(s) of an accepted abstract to register will result in their removal from the Conference Program and from the "Abstract Booklet" without prior notice.

The conference welcomes papers for the sessions below, not only highlighting the value of engineering simulations, but also illustrating the pervasiveness of simulation-based engineering and sciences (SBES) pushing the boundaries of simulation and moving towards digital transformation.

  • Aerospace & Defense

  • Automotive & Transportation

  • Energy, Oil & Gas

  • Manufacturing

Please submit your abstract, which should be no more than 1000 characters in length, by the 21st June 2019.

If successful, please submit your paper, which should be no more than 8 pages in length, by the 23rd September.

Please also be aware that:

  • Your abstract will be published in the Conference "Abstract Booklet" that will be distributed to all participants.

  • Your paper will be included in the Conference Proceedings Collection online that can be downloaded by all participants after the event.

Commercial papers (i.e. advertising a product) will not be accepted, so please emphasize the research and innovative content, or the technical application of CAE technologies when submitting your abstract for consideration.

Consent. By submitting their article, abstract or paper, both using the on-line system and/or by other means, the authors explicitly allow International CAE Conference Organization to publish their work for an undetermined period of time on web sites and to disseminate it through media of any kind, with the only limit being that the medium and context do not negatively affect the authors' image and professionalism.
